The website I created for OSSWA, Ohio School Social Work Association, was a redesign of their previous website. Their previous design used drab colors and was confusing to navigate, so OSSWA was in need of some cleaning up and brightening. OSSWA is a non-profit organization of social workers, so I focused on creating a budget-friendly website for them that met their needs, essentially by keeping things simple and stripping out any clutter and under-used features.
The projected image of OSSWA is professional, yet friendly. The redesign uses softer colors and more prominent menus for easy navigation. The site provides recent news, upcoming events and resources for its visitors. For conference registration and membership requests, I utilized Wufoo to create speedy, user-friendly forms. Members of OSSWA are able to update and add content via the WordPress content management system.
