Jillian Nichols

Published July 2010

This is my portfolio and blog website. If you’re interested in what I’ve done and what I’m capable of, this is the place to see it! The initial, driving force behind the website was a means to display my previous web creations all in one place, as I will be seeking a new place of employment in New York City this summer. However, I was glad to have such good reason to create this site, because it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for myself for some time now.

Since this is my portfolio site, I really wanted it to reflect my tastes. Currently I am loving subtle textures and muted colors in website designs, with a splash of color here and there – so I tried to implement those features accordingly. The overflow criss-cross along the border of the foreground was an effect I accidentally created in Photoshop, and really liked the result.

About Me

I'm a passionate web developer, both full-time and as freelance. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and marketing and specialize in web design, front-end development, and WordPress customization.

In my spare time, I enjoy novels and films, playing addicting iPhone games, and spending too much money on dining out.
